“Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You.”

Devotion to the Sacred Heart gained new strength in the 17th century when Jesus appeared to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque. In these revelations, He showed her His burning Heart, enveloped in a living flame of love, crowned with thorns, and pierced by total self-giving. He asked her to spread this message of mercy so that the world might discover how much He loves, how much He forgives, and how much He hopes.

In each apparition, Jesus revealed the deep longing of His Heart: that every soul might find in Him a safe haven, rest for its wounds, and an inexhaustible source of peace. Since then, His Heart remains open, beating with divine tenderness, inviting us to trust, to return, and to let ourselves be loved.
